## I. Overview

AI Photo Cleaner: Clean Up (hereinafter "this app" or "we") is a storage cleaning tool that runs on iPhone. We take the protection of user privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we come into contact with when you use this app, how we handle that information, and what rights you have.

Please read this policy carefully before using this app. **By using this app, you agree to the contents of this Privacy Policy.**

**Core Principles:**

- This app **requires no account registration** and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name or phone number.

- Your **photos, videos, contacts, and email content** are all processed locally on your device and **are never uploaded to any of our servers**.

## II. Information We Collect and Process

### 2.1 Personally Identifiable Information

**This app does not collect any personally identifiable information.** You can use features such as photo cleaning, video compression, and swipe-to-clean without registering an account.

### 2.2 Photos and Videos

This app needs to access the photo library on your device in order to scan, categorize, and clean up duplicate photos, similar photos, blurry photos, screenshots, Live Photos, videos, and other content, as well as to perform video compression.

- **All scanning, recognition, categorization, and compression are performed locally on your device.**

- We **do not store, transmit, or share** any of your photo or video content.

- Photos and videos you delete within this app are moved by the system into the "Recently Deleted" album of the Photos app, where they are retained for 30 days.

- If you have enabled iCloud Photos, deletion operations will be synced by the iOS system to your other devices and to iCloud. This synchronization is performed by Apple's system, and this app takes no part in it.

### 2.3 Contacts

When you use the "Contacts Cleanup" feature, this app needs to access your contacts in order to identify duplicate contacts, identify contacts with incomplete information, and to perform merging, deletion, and backup.

- **All processing is performed locally on your device**, and contacts data **is never uploaded** to our servers.

- Backup records generated by the backup feature are **stored only locally on your device**.

- If your contacts account is an iCloud account, merge or delete operations will be synced by the iOS system to iCloud. This synchronization is performed by Apple, and this app takes no part in it.

- **Merging and deleting contacts cannot be undone.** Please use the in-app backup feature before performing these operations.

### 2.4 Gmail Email Data

The "Email Cleanup" feature requires you to grant authorization through your **Google account** before this app can access your Gmail inbox to organize and clean up email by sender.

**How it is processed:**

- This app **calls Google's official Gmail API directly on your device**, and **email content never passes through any of our servers**.

- We **do not store, cache, or transmit** your email content, subjects, sender information, or any email metadata. All data exists only in device memory while the app is running.

- The authorization scopes we request are limited to the minimum permissions necessary to **read email metadata and move email into the Gmail trash**. We **do not request permission to permanently delete email**.

- "Deleting" email within this app is equivalent to **moving it into the Gmail trash**, from which you can restore it in Gmail.

- The "Unsubscribe" feature works by reading the standard unsubscribe information (`List-Unsubscribe`) contained in the email, with your device sending the unsubscribe request directly to the sender.

The **Limited Use declaration for Google user data** is set out in **Section V** of this policy.

### 2.5 Usage Statistics and Diagnostic Information

To improve the product experience and troubleshoot issues, this app integrates **Firebase Analytics** (provided by Google) to collect **anonymous** usage statistics, for example:

- App instance identifier (randomly generated and unrelated to your identity)

- Device model, operating system version, app version, language, and approximate region

- Feature usage (for example, how many times a page has been opened or a button has been tapped)

**Regarding this information:**

- It **does not contain** any content that could identify you personally.

- It **does not contain** any content from your photos, videos, contacts, or email.

### 2.6 Subscription and Payment Information

This app offers a paid subscription (Clean Up Pro). All subscriptions and payments are processed through **Apple App Store In-App Purchase**.

We **do not come into contact with or store** any payment information (including credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). The relevant processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

## IV. What We Do Not Do

We **will not**:

- Upload or store your photo, video, contacts, or email content

- Perform cross-app or cross-website user tracking

## V. Limited Use Declaration for Google User Data

This app's use and transfer of user data obtained through the Google APIs adheres to the **Google API Services User Data Policy**, including its **Limited Use** requirements.

Specifically, this app undertakes to:

1. Use Gmail data **only** to provide the email cleanup features expressly described in this app.

2. **Not** transfer Gmail data to others, except to provide or improve the aforementioned features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition (and then only with your prior explicit consent).

3. **Not** use Gmail data for any form of advertising (including personalized, remarketing, or interest-based advertising).

4. **Not** allow any human to read your Gmail data, except: (a) with your explicit consent; (b) for security purposes (such as investigating abuse); (c) to comply with applicable law; or (d) where the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

**Revoking Authorization:** You may at any time go to the "[Security → Third-party apps & services](https://myaccount.google.com/connections)" page of your Google account to revoke this app's access to your Gmail. You may also sign out directly within this app's "Email Settings."

## VI. Data Security

- Your photo, video, contacts, and email content **never leaves your device**, so there is no risk of a leak resulting from an attack on our servers.

- Communication with Gmail uses HTTPS encryption throughout and is carried out through Google's official OAuth 2.0 authorization mechanism. This app **neither comes into contact with nor stores** your Google account password.

- Although we take reasonable measures, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

## VII. Data Retention and Deletion

- **Photos / Videos / Contacts / Email**: We never retain these, so there is nothing to delete.

- **Local data within the app** (such as contacts backup records, subscription status cache, and app preferences): stored locally on your device. You can:

- Clear all local data generated by the app on your device at once via "Settings → Delete My Data" within this app; or

- Simply uninstall this app, and all local data will be deleted along with it.

- **Anonymous usage statistics**: retained by Firebase Analytics under Google's default policy and contain no personally identifiable information.

- After you uninstall this app, we do not retain your photo, video, contacts, or email data on any server (because we never collected it).

## VIII. Children's Privacy

This app is **not directed to children under 13 years of age**, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has used this app without consent, please contact us through the developer contact information provided on the App Store app page, and we will address the matter promptly.
